Baby Your Baby is a prenatal program for pregnant women that meet certain criteria. Those that qualify will be given a TEMPORARY card to cover outpatient-prenatal medical expenses such as doctor visits, prenatal vitamins, lab work and ultrasounds.
Applying for Medicaid as soon as possible is highly recommended so the mother can receive the following coverage: Continued prenatal care, hospital and delivery, 60 days postpartum for the mother and one year for the baby. To apply for Medicaid go to : www.utahhelps.utah.gov
